FESTIVALS OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH

              Arunachal Pradesh known as "The land of rising Sun", is a state from northeast India. This state has many different tribes, so they have different festival according to their tribes. Festival in this state is celebrated through out the year.  Festival here are the identity of the tribes.  Mostly festival here are related to the agriculture and gratitude towards the almighty God.

               The festival like Nyokum which is celebrated by the Nyishi tribes in the month of August, This festival is celebrated for better productivity prosperity and happiness of all the human being on the earth. This festival has also close link with cultivation. Nyishi tribes also has a festival known as Boori boot. This state has also other festival like Mopin festival celebrated by the Galo tribes, Solung festival celebrated by the Adi tribes, Losar festival celebrated by the Monpa tribes, Dree festival celebrated by the Apatani tribes, Si-Donyi festival celebrated by the Tagin tribes, and lot more.


                This state also celebrated festival which is not related to tribes, like Ziro music festival which is a music festival celebrated at Ziro valley located in the Lower Subansiri district of  State Arunachal Pradesh in Northeast India, Orange festival a festival mixed up with music, adventure, etc is celebrated at Dambuk  in Lower Dibang valley district on Arunachal Pradesh of Northeast India.
