ZIRO MUSIC FESTIVAL


                Ziro music festival is an outdoor music festival, held at the Ziro valley of Lower Subansiri district in state Arunachal Pradesh of northeast India. This festival was first held in the year 2012 by Bobby Hano and Menwhopause (A Rock band based in Delhi India) guitarist Anup Kutty. This festival is celebrated for four day in month of September or October and is hosted by the member of Apatani tribes of Ziro. This festival is noted to be the Eco-friendly festival in India. This festival has two stage Donyi (Sun) and Polo (Moon), Donyi Polo is a religion followed by the people of Arunachal Pradesh. Every structure in this festival is made of Bamboo. People can enjoy different type of music from around the country. Along with the music, local food of the state can be enjoyed in this festival. The other states who are not from the state Arunachal need ILP (Inner Line Permit) and foreigners need PAP (Protected Area Permit) these are available at tourist offices in all the major cites in India, or can be collected at the entrance gate of the state.
