The Galo tribes are a Central eastern Himalayan tribes who are the descendants of Abo Tani and speaks the Tani language Gallong. This community mainly inhabit in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh.
Galo Tribes
Galo Tribes have two religion Christianity and Donyi Polo. Where Donyi means sun and polo means moon. (where sun is the female energy and moon being the male). Donyi polo temple is a center to worship sun and moon. The pioneer of the revival was Talom Rukbo. These religion is followed by many other tribes in Arunachal Pradesh

Festival the Galo tribes celebrated Mopin. Mopin festival is and agriculture festival(harvesting season), celebrated in the month of March and April. The main goddess worship during the festival is called Mopin Ane (Goddess Laxmi) this festival is also known as the new year for the Galo tribes.
Girls during Mopin Festival
Female of Galo tribes wear Gale(Skirt) and Male wear Tango lalik(coat/shirt). The colour of there traditional attire is mainly white and they preferred white dresses for their festival.
With their Dress and Ornaments
Galo tribes are non vegetarian. Amin is the main food of these tribe, which contain rice flour, chicken, and bamboo shoot. Basically they have rice, green leaf, chicken, pork, etc
