PLACES TO VISITS IN NORTHEAST INDIA

                   Northeast India, is covered with mountains and hills. Northeast has the pleasant climate, it is surrounded with natures, forest, hill and scenery beauty. Each and every state of Northeast India has it own natural beauty.

1. Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh.

                   Tawang, is located at the state of Arunachal Pradesh. This places share the International border with China and Bhutan. This places is at the hill top. Tawang has the world 2nd largest monastery. In winter People can enjoy the snowfall here. Tawang is the places for the monpa tribes of Arunachal Pradesh.

2. Mechuka, Arunachal Pradesh.

                    Mechuka, is a small town of the state Arunachal Pradesh. It is 6000 ft above the sea level. It is situated at 29 km away from the India - China border. Mechuka is surrounded by pine trees and thorn bushes.  Mechuka has a 400 years old monastery which is one of the major tourist attraction. This small town has scenic beauty, genital hills and mountain covered with snow. Mechuka is the home to the Memba, Adi and Tagin tribes of Arunachal Pradesh.

3. Kaziranga National Park, Assam.

                      Kaziranga National Park is located at Assam. This park is World Heritage Sites because two third on the One Horn Rhino is found in this park. This park is also home to largest breeding populations of Elephant, Wild water Buffalo and Swamp Deer.

4. Mujali, Assam.

                       Mujali is located at Assam, in the middle of the mighty river Brahmaputra. This is the world largest river island. Surrounded by water, this island is very beautiful. The culture and the tradition of this places is quite Unique, and is recognize as the World heritage Sites.

5. Cherrapunjee, Meghalaya.

                        Cherrapunjee is a sub-divisional town of East Khasi Hill district of the state Meghalaya. Cherrapunjee is known as the wettest places on the earth. because this places received the highest rainfall. Here you can find the living root bridge, Mawsmai Caves and Nohkalikai Waterfall.

6. Dawki, Meghalaya.

                       Dawki is town in West Jaintia Hills district of the state Meghalaya. It is located at the  border between India and Bangladesh.  Dawki bridge on the river Umngot is the place to visit which was build in 1932 by the British.
